Cookie Policy of guja.it

This document contains information regarding the technologies that allow guja.it to achieve the purposes described below. These technologies enable the Data Controller to collect and save information (for example through the use of Cookies) or to use resources (for example by running a script) on the User’s device when the User interacts with guja.it.

For simplicity, in this document such technologies are collectively defined as “Tracking Tools,” unless there is reason to differentiate.
For example, although Cookies can be used in both web and mobile browsers, it would be inappropriate to talk about Cookies in the context of mobile device applications, since these are Tracking Tools that require the presence of a browser. For this reason, within this document the term Cookie is used only to specifically indicate that particular type of Tracking Tool.

Guja.it uses Tracking Tools managed directly by the Data Controller (commonly called “first-party” Tracking Tools) and Tracking Tools that enable services provided by third parties (commonly called “third-party” Tracking Tools). Unless otherwise specified within this document, such third parties have access to their respective Tracking Tools.
The duration and expiration of Cookies and other similar Tracking Tools may vary depending on what is set by the Data Controller or each third-party provider. Some of them expire at the end of the User's browsing session.
In addition to what is specified in the description of each of the categories below, Users can obtain more detailed and updated information on the duration, as well as any other relevant information - such as the presence of other Tracking Tools - in the privacy policies of the respective third-party providers (through the links provided) or by contacting the Data Controller.

Guja.it uses Cookies commonly called “technical” or other similar Tracking Tools to perform activities strictly necessary to ensure the operation or provision of the Service.

Functionality

Guja.it uses Tracking Tools to allow simple interactions and activate features that enable Users to access certain resources of the Service and simplify communication with the Data Controller.

Mailing list or newsletter (guja.it)

By registering to the mailing list or newsletter, the User's email address is automatically added to a contact list to which email messages containing information, including commercial and promotional content, related to guja.it may be sent. The User's email address may also be added to this list as a result of registration on guja.it or after making a purchase.

Personal Data processed: ZIP code, city, last name, date of birth, Usage Data, email, physical address, country, first name, phone number, profession, province, company name, gender, website, state, and Tracking Tool.

Measurement

Guja.it uses Tracking Tools to measure traffic and analyze User behavior to improve the Service.

Tracking Tools managed by third parties

Google Analytics (Universal Analytics)
Google Analytics (Universal Analytics) is a web analytics service provided by Google LLC or Google Ireland Limited, depending on how the Data Controller manages the Data processing ("Google"). Google uses the Personal Data collected to track and examine the use of guja.it, compile reports, and share them with other services developed by Google.
Google may use Personal Data to contextualize and personalize ads in its advertising network.

If the use of Trackers is based on consent, the User can provide or revoke such consent by setting or updating their preferences through the relevant privacy choices panel available on guja.it.

Regarding third-party Tracking Tools, Users can manage their preferences by visiting the relevant opt-out link (if available), using the tools described in the third party's privacy policy, or contacting the third party directly.

How to control or delete Cookies and similar technologies through your device settings

Users can use their browser settings to:

See which Cookies or other similar technologies have been set on the device;
Block Cookies or similar technologies;
Delete Cookies or similar technologies from the browser.

Browser settings, however, do not allow granular consent control by category.

Users can also manage some Tracking Tools for mobile applications by disabling them through the appropriate device settings, such as mobile advertising settings or general tracking settings (Users can check the device settings to find the relevant one).

Consequences related to the refusal to use Tracking Tools

Users are free to decide whether or not to allow the use of Tracking Tools. However, please note that Tracking Tools enable guja.it to provide Users with a better experience and advanced features (in line with the purposes outlined in this document). Therefore, if the User decides to block the use of Tracking Tools, the Data Controller may not be able to provide the related functionalities.

Definitions and legal references

Personal Data (or Data)

Personal data means any information that, directly or indirectly, also in connection with any other information, including a personal identification number, identifies or makes identifiable a natural person.

Usage Data

This is the information automatically collected through guja.it (also from third-party applications integrated into guja.it), including: the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by the User connecting to guja.it, the addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation, the time of the request, the method used to forward the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numeric code indicating the status of the response from the server (success, error, etc.), the country of origin, the characteristics of the browser and operating system used by the visitor, the various temporal connotations of the visit (for example, the time spent on each page) and details related to the itinerary followed within the Application, with particular reference to the sequence of pages consulted, the parameters related to the operating system and the User's IT environment.

User

The individual who uses guja.it who, unless otherwise specified, coincides with the Data Subject.

Data Subject

The natural person to whom the Personal Data refers.

Data Processor (or Processor)

The natural person, legal entity, public administration, and any other entity that processes personal data on behalf of the Data Controller, as described in this privacy policy.

Data Controller (or Owner)

The natural or legal person, public authority, service or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of processing personal data and the tools adopted, including security measures related to the operation and use of guja.it. The Data Controller, unless otherwise specified, is the owner of guja.it.

guja.it (or this Application)

The hardware or software tool through which Users' Personal Data are collected and processed.

Service

The Service provided by guja.it as defined in the relevant terms (if any) on this site/application.
