Returns and exchanges
You have 14 days from receipt to return or exchange your purchase. Manage everything independently through our Returns Portal: free returns in Italy with our partner courier (with or without a label to print, thanks to the QR code option) or directly at one of our boutiques, except for returns of more than three pairs, for which an €8 contribution toward expenses is required. Outside Italy, returns are subject to a fee, with the cost shown at checkout. For an exchange, indicate the SKU of the desired item (including size) - however, we recommend purchasing it separately right away to make sure you receive it, as availability is checked only when the return is received.

Sizes
GUJA shoes fit true to size unless otherwise indicated on the product page. Each product page includes a size chart: we recommend consulting it before ordering, as the fit may vary slightly from one model to another depending on the construction and shape.

Returns and exchanges
GUJA accepts returns of unworn shoes in their original condition and packaging. You have 14 days from delivery to notify us of the return and an additional 14 days to ship the item. Shoes showing signs of use cannot be accepted. All terms are listed on the Returns page.
Returns are handled through the Global-e Returns portal. Go to the Returns page, enter your order number and the email address used for the purchase, then follow the steps to generate the return label and instructions.
Yes. If the size is available, we will arrange the exchange. Contact us as soon as possible after receiving the order so we can set aside the correct size while the return is being processed. Exchange availability depends on current stock.

GUJA uses genuine leather and other materials that comply with European certification standards throughout its range. The focus is on materials that perform well in everyday use: leathers that soften and naturally adapt to the foot, breathable linings, and soles with genuine support. GUJA works with small specialized footwear manufacturers, many of which are family businesses that have been operating since the 1950s. Production on this scale involves a significant amount of skilled manual work, particularly in assembly, stitching, and finishing. These are not artisanal ateliers that make one pair at a time, but neither are they factories in the industrial sense of the term. Each pair undergoes manual quality checks before leaving the production facility.
A good leather shoe lasts much longer with simple, consistent care. After each use, let the leather breathe before putting the shoes away. Use a soft brush or dry cloth to remove dust and surface dirt. Apply a leather conditioner every two or three weeks to keep the leather soft: this is particularly important during dry periods or after exposure to rain. Store the shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight; a shoe tree or paper in the toe helps maintain their shape.
For suede or nubuck styles, use a suede brush to revive the nap and a protective spray before first use. Avoid contact with water whenever possible and treat stains immediately with a dry cloth, without rubbing.
